I was trying to come up with a layout for the Shiki no Uta fanlisting so I started drawing a tree on my tablet, and soon I found myself making lots of ink lines and thought maybe I could take it further and give it more of a changing look.

Well, I have the images I want to use but I have yet to set up content and coding. I still like how this came out though. :D As for textures, that's thanks to Hybrid-Genesis.

Guh, I'm crazy about this song even after a year. ;) Long live Samurai Champloo.

That's awesome! It looks like one of those traditional Japanese paintings (which I can't remember the name of right now).

Haha, it didn't look like one of those paintings before I added the textures. :glomp: I wish I could learn more about eastern art. My course in Art History last year was mainly concerned with European art. X_x

That's awesome! I love Samurai Champloo! Shiki No Uta is the title of the ending theme song, but what does it mean?
It looks great, as if you did it traditionally.

Shiki no Uta means "Song of Four Seasons" which is why I have spring, summer, fall and winter up on there. Scroll down here on this page for the English translation to the lyrics. :) Thanks for the comment!

I took a course on Chinese art history for one day. It was the most boring class ever. The teacher would show us a picture and then ask what we saw in it... The other people, mainly art majors, saw all of this symbolism and stuff. I saw a pretty picture. O_o...
